Great book. Well documented and an interesting read.
Anyone wonder why many are not watching football, basketball lately? Articles have been written about the constant crisis of empty seats in sports. One of the reasons given is the politics displayed at games.
They are paid to play a game. Their politics, such as it is, is puerile, uninformed and meaningless.
The players in the above groups would be better served if they paid child support to the mothers of their children. Pro athletes fathering multiple children with multiple women is quite common. Yet the financial support is not. So, all you athletes out there, play the game, stay out of politics during the game, support your children and try to keep it in your pants.
