The epic conclusion of the Archimedes Engine duology by legendary author Peter F. Hamilton.
Set in the universe of EXODUS, a new sci-fi action-adventure RPG coming soon from Archetype Entertainment.
For millennia, the Crown Dominion has been at relative peace, with the Celestials in control and the human population little better than serfs. But now the Crown Dominion is facing a crisis of epic proportions—one that could change the balance of power in the Centauri Cluster forever—as an exiled faction that has been waiting for seven thousand years beyond the Helium Sea has returned to claim their vengeance.
For Finn and his human allies, who have ended up at the center of this conflict either through circumstance or manipulation, this is an unprecedented opportunity. If they can band together, they may be able to outwit the Celestials and finally earn their fellow humans a place of independence and power in the Crown Dominion. But first they must locate and master ancient artifacts of immense power that could give them a needed edge in the conflict ahead. And all while ducking the forces that are determined to knock them off the board for good.

rayman96, try using an audio converter like fre:ac. It’s free, open source. Supports all major OS’s. freac.org

Thank you very much for the upload! Rayman96, you could try VLC player, it plays just about everything, audio, video, you name it, and it has all the bells and whistles. It’s been around for a long long time, and it’s very reputable. I use it to play everything.

FreePalestine, thanks for the audiobook and for using Opus, saves me the trouble, I transcode everything to Opus.
rayman96, Opus is a modern codec and replacement to mp3 & aac, most of internet streaming runs on Opus, “save as mp3″ is often client side transcode on the fly, it has been supported on portables since Android 5 and I think VLC will play Opus on older Android 4.x devices, if you have an old legacy device then transcode to whatever format you need, but don’t expect people to share CD disc images because someone still burns audiobooks to listen on portable CD players. When you tanscode to mp3 keep in mind that’s an obsolete old codec from 1991, its inefficient, you need to use a much higher bit rate to get the same quality as Opus. My rule of thumb for mp3 is the opus bitrate is 50% lower without noticeable loss of quality, e.g. opus 32kbps = mp3 64kbps. For m4b aac-lc its a little more complicated because of how the compression works, Opus can reliably be 30% lower bit rate but I usually round up to a 16kbps increment, e.g. graphic audio opus 48kbps = m4b aac-lc 64kbps, music opus 96kbps = m4a aac-lc 128kbps, except for voice-only Opus can usually go to 50% lower bit rate, because 64kbps aac-lc is excessive for voice-only and Opus has superior voice compression, but it needs to be checked for quality because for some narrators their more dramatic performance gets a little clipped at the wider parts of their dynamic range which causes a noticeable loss of voice quality, especially with male & female actors together at the same time, this is fixed by adding 8kbps or 16kbps when transcoding down, but when transcoding up it cannot recreate lost data. (…sorry, bored ramble…)
tl-dr ~ transcode the opus 32kbps file to mp3 64kbps to use on your old mp3-only players.
